CT Solutions believes designing the network to integrate properly with the client’s business plan from the beginning, minimizes or even eliminates expensive change orders, sluggish network performance, or costly network outages.
What is Technology Architecture?
CT Solutions has developed the term “Technology Architecture” over the 35 plus years in the business communications technology industry. Traditionally technology companies were segregated into two or more application categories such as “Voice” for business telephone systems, and “Data” for computer networking. Additional categories such as software, business security, and premise access control would often intersect with either the voice or data network but required additional vendor relationships. Historically, creating a complete technology plan would require the coordination of three or more vendors.
In today’s marketplace more business applications are being developed for the corporate network almost daily. This trend is known as “Digital Transformation”. Digital Transformation is taking what was previously CAPX premise-based equipment and pushing it to a cloud based OPX business application. Technology Architecture is the holistic process of designing, implementing, and managing the corporate data network from start to finish. The focus of “Technology Architecture is to ensure every application has the proper resources to perform at its optimum level. Previously “Technology Sales” individuals were hyper focused on selling their specific application to meet sales quotas with little to no knowledge of the design, functionality, or performance of the client’s data network. The overall cost of this segregated approach to business networks and business applications was paid in extended network outages, lost hours of staff productivity, and loss of revenue waisted on products and services that were never able to deliver.
CT Solutions six step “Technology Architecture” methodology is designed to incorporate network flexibility, security, and reliability into every client’s network. We work to integrate a technology plan into the client’s business plan. Our goal is to build the client’s technology as a business tool to assist their business growth.
